Raw Minnesota Bee Pollen

One of nature's most enjoyable superfoods, our raw bee pollen is kept frozen until sale to preserve its healthful properties and flavor. Enjoy as a health or allergy supplement, or sprinkle on fancy yogurts and salads.

Some individuals may experience an allergic reaction to pollen. Please take one or two grains and wait two hours to see if you react before taking more. Repeated small doses after 24 hours will usually decrease any sensitivity.

Pollen is collected from the worker bees as they climb through a specially designed pollen trap on the bottom of the hive. This brushes some of the pollen off their legs as they enter, but allows enough pollen to pass through for their own use. The traps are removed after three weeks.
